The Blue Water Consultancy commenced its fieldwork for a full assessment of priority sites on February 27, 2022, which plays a big part in the planning process of our Sustainable Tourism Master Plan. According to the Progress Report of Sir Louie Mencias, head of the research team of Blue Water Consultancy, during the MPDC Meeting in Sangguniang Panlalawigan last March 25, 2022, and during the Provincial Development Council Meeting last April 4, 2022, the team had already conducted a thorough assessment in Paluan, Mamburao, Sta. Cruz, Calintaan and Rizal. The fieldwork includes a Simultaneous Perception Survey, Trail Assessment, Reef Assessment, River, Wetland, and Mangroove Assessment, Heritage Mapping, Consultation through FGD and KII, and Documentation through Photos and Videos. The same report was also detailed by Ms. Chen Mencias during the 1st Quarterly Meeting of Provincial and Municipal Tourism Officers via zoom.

The Blue Water Consultancy has also provided a hard copy of the Progress Report of the plan to our Governor, Provincial Planning and Development Office, Provincial Tourism Office, and LGUs.
The team will continue its research in the priority sites of San Jose and Magsaysay until April 15, 2022. The Site Development Team, headed by Ms. Chen Mencias, is also expected to arrive in the province on April 9, 2022, along with site planners and landscape architects to conduct an ocular inspection of the priority sites.
